Offered through the Youth Enrichment League. Each Chess class follows four basic components: Teach It! ... students are taught different chess concepts and coached to implement those concepts into their chess game. Practice It! .... Students are given chess puzzles and work with coach guidance to solve them. Play It! ... Each class ens with students playig 20-30 minutes of chess. coaches often feature in-class tournaments during the session. The class fee includes ChessKid.com membersip for the session (a $49 annual value). Be sure to notify your child's teacher that he/she will be attending chess after school.
